The new version implements many of the feature requests I've received in the mail or in the forums. Some of the more prominent new functions:
Download the new version from the trinkets page.
- Auto-launching albums, photos, and slide shows
- Setting root collections
- Support for CJK (Chinese, Japanese, and Korean) characters via system fonts
- Linking images to URLs
- Setting a background image

Great news! Are there any plans for upgrading the Windows manager or do I have to use the PHP manager?

I'm putting a higher priority on updating exposé and the Album Manager for PHP; Album Manager for Windows may see a few updates here and there, but I don't know when that will happen yet. The Mac version will lay dormant for the time being since I don't have a Mac.
Ok, I'll try if I can get the PHP app to work on "my server" and if I can convert the album settings from the windows program to the php dito. The PHP manager did look nice on the demo ...

A few how-tos are badly needed.
In the meantime, try setting the bgImageURL parameter in expose.html to the URL of the JPG you want to use as a background (it can also be a SWF file).

hi ivan. the expose is just a really great work.. i like it a lot and all the ones i show my gallery like it a lot too.
i just thought about modifying it to a webshop. lets say, this way: to add some fields more, like price and amount, and to add a button, which collects the selected ones in a basket. then, it can be ordered whatever it is..
what do you think about such an idea? i haven't seen a nice opensource flash gallery shop yet, this would perfectly fit into your gallery and would be the first really nice looking flash shop..
just as an idea.. :)

I have installed v4.6.2, however, I can not upload images of something like 100k.
In a previous version I was able to.
Is there a setting someone in Expose' to allow larger images?

Ivan: I purchased the commercial version and was email password and login but I can not figure out where to go to download the commercial version. Please help.
